The grant is divided into two essential components: one for computer equipment for emergency management offices and another for hazardous materials response gear to improve emergency response effectiveness within each county.
The Wisconsin Emergency Management (WEM) agency invites applications from Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPCs) for this annual grant, accessible via the Egrants platform. The grant ensures that all LEPCs can access funds for computer equipment. However, to qualify for the hazardous materials response equipment portion, LEPCs must submit a strategic plan to WEM, in line with s. 323.61 (2m).
Eligibility
