Festive Celebrations Await at Deck the Plaza in Dallas

Embrace the holiday spirit at “Deck the Plaza,” an event designed to bring joy and excitement to all attendees. Whether you’re with family or friends, this festive celebration offers something for everyone and promises to create lasting holiday memories.
Set for Friday, December 6, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., “Deck the Plaza” features an array of activities and attractions. Enjoy fireworks, live performances, a spectacular tree lighting, a real snow slide, and entertainment from local schools. The event also includes interactive characters, a toddler zone, food trucks, giveaways, and a special appearance by Santa Claus himself.
Dallas Interim City Manager Kimberly Bizor Tolbert, along with city council members, invites everyone to partake in the seasonal festivities.
Tree Lighting Ceremony: Scheduled for 6:45 p.m.
Fireworks Display: Begins at 7:15 p.m., launched from the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Arena.
