Join the Library’s Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month with an Inspiring Film Screening
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the library invites the community to a special film screening that promises to inspire and educate. The featured movie, A Million Miles Away, chronicles the remarkable journey of Jose Hernandez, highlighting his transition from working in the fields to achieving his dreams as an engineer and astronaut. This biopic illustrates themes of determination, community support, and the sacrifices necessary to reach a seemingly unattainable goal.

This event is family-friendly; however, children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult. The screening of A Million Miles Away has been made possible through a collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios and is provided by the Free Library of Philadelphia via Bibliotele.
