Digital Language Learning Resources
Beyond traditional print and audio resources, the Free Library offers two standout electronic platforms for language learning:
- Mango Languages provides courses in over 70 languages, including American Sign Language and English for non-native speakers. A helpful video tutorial is available to guide new users.
- Transparent Languages is accessible through POWER Library and offers lessons in over 120 languages, including several endangered ones.
Both Mango Languages and Transparent Languages offer mobile apps, allowing for convenient, on-the-go learning. Best of all, these resources are free with a library card! By creating an account, users can track their progress and continue their lessons seamlessly.
