All-way stop to be installed at Alamance County intersection tomorrow

Safety Enhancements Scheduled for Alamance County Junction

In an effort to bolster road safety, an all-way stop is set to be implemented at a key intersection in Alamance County. This change aims to mitigate the risk of accidents at the juncture of Altamahaw Union Ridge and Pagetown Roads.

State transportation teams are prepared to initiate this traffic modification tomorrow, with operations commencing at approximately 9:00 a.m. The work is expected to wrap up by early afternoon, assuming favorable weather conditions. At present, only Pagetown Road drivers are required to halt.

All-way stops are recognized for their effectiveness and cost-efficiency in enhancing intersection safety and reducing the likelihood of severe collisions. For further details, interested individuals can visit the NCDOT webpage.
