The City of Reno Introduces “Biggest Little Council Connect” Series
The City of Reno is launching an innovative event series called the “Biggest Little Council Connect,” aimed at fostering direct communication between residents and their City Council Members. This initiative is designed to create an informal atmosphere where constituents can engage with their representatives, discuss concerns, and build community ties.
The inaugural event is scheduled for Friday, February 28, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., featuring Councilmember Miguel Martinez of Ward 3. It will take place at Stella Coffee, located at 701 S. Virginia Street. Residents are encouraged to attend this first meeting to voice their opinions and connect with their local government in a meaningful way.
“We wanted to provide residents with the opportunity to meet their Council Members in a relaxed setting,” said Jackie Bryant, Reno City Manager. “The Biggest Little Council Connect series is all about strengthening the bonds between our city leaders and the communities they serve. We encourage everyone to attend and take part in shaping our city’s future.”
