Approval Granted for Major Transmission Line Upgrade in Nevada
GridLiance West, LLC has been granted the green light to proceed with significant infrastructure enhancements in Nevada. This project involves the construction, operation, and eventual decommissioning of an upgraded power transmission line. In addition, the initiative includes the development of new, expanded, or modified substations, switchyards, and access roads.
The planned transmission upgrades are strategically located on the western side of the Spring Mountains, stretching from Las Vegas to the regions of Pahrump and Indian Springs. These enhancements are anticipated to bolster the region’s power transmission capabilities, catering to the expanding energy demands of these areas.
