Flint Launches “Love Your City Month” with Free Supplies and Special Trash Collection

Flint is gearing up for its annual “Love Your City Month” in May 2025, a dedicated initiative aimed at enhancing the cleanliness and beauty of the city’s neighborhoods, parks, and public areas. This community-driven campaign is a call to action for residents, block clubs, local organizations, and volunteers to come together in a collective effort to maintain Flint’s public spaces.

To facilitate these cleanup activities, Keep Genesee County Beautiful is providing free garbage bags, yard waste bags, and cotton work gloves to individuals and groups working on public spaces like parks, schoolyards, and libraries. Supplies can be requested by contacting Keep Genesee County Beautiful at 810-767-9696 at least 10 days prior to the planned cleanup.
