East Valley Teen Summit: Growing Up in a Digital World Event

Exploring the Challenges of Growing Up in a Digital Age

Imagine a world where smartphones, social media, and artificial intelligence are interwoven into the daily lives of young individuals. How does this technological immersion impact their development and mental well-being?

On Friday, September 25, a gathering of diverse community members—including students, parents, educators, and mental health professionals—will take place at the second annual East Valley Teen Mental Health Awareness and Violence Prevention Summit.

This year, the summit revolves around the theme Growing Up in a Digital World. It aims to address pressing issues currently affecting families in the East Valley, such as the presence of phones in educational settings, the influence of social media, advancements in AI and chatbots, and the mental health of teenagers. The goal is to explore how to better support youth in an increasingly digital society.

Over 20 community partners have already committed to participating, alongside a noteworthy lineup of speakers and students poised to steer the dialogue.

If you’re a parent, educator, student advocate, healthcare professional, nonprofit leader, or simply someone invested in the future generation, your presence is welcomed and encouraged.

To be part of this significant conversation, please register today. Share this opportunity with others who should contribute to this important dialogue.
