As anticipation builds for this year’s giving season, nonprofit organizations in Delaware County are gearing up for a significant fundraising opportunity. Registration is now open for the third annual Delco Gives event, a day dedicated to amplifying community support for local nonprofits.
Delco Gives, orchestrated by The Foundation for Delaware County, has become a staple in the local philanthropic scene. This initiative provides a platform for nonprofits to connect with donors and raise awareness about their missions. The event will take place on December 8, offering a 24-hour window for supporters to contribute to their favorite causes.
Participation in Delco Gives is open to any nonprofit organization operating within Delaware County. Interested parties can register through The Foundation for Delaware County’s website. This opportunity not only aids fundraising efforts but also enhances the visibility of participating organizations within the community.
“Delco Gives is an incredible opportunity for nonprofits to engage with the community and showcase their impact,” said a representative from The Foundation for Delaware County. Last year, the event successfully raised thousands of dollars, benefiting numerous organizations and programs throughout the area.
